We have been retained by a non-profit hospice entering Northern Virginia, to recruit a Business Development Rep.  This role will develop and maintain professional relationships with referral partners, including physicians, hospitals and residential care communities in assigned territory to promote earlier referrals, increase overall census, and enhance referral source satisfaction. Monitors and helps expedite referrals from assigned accounts and assists organization in obtaining required documentation.

Three years experience working in a health care environment, including direct experience with physicians, hospitals, and/or residential care communities. Experience must include aspects of marketing, customer service, and sales.

Our search firm has been retained by Maryland’s largest, not-for-profit Hospice/Palliative Care organization to recruit a Director of Quality, Patient Safety and Staff Development and this role will be responsible for all ofour client’s locations to include: Northern Virginia (brand new joint venture ), Anne Arundel and PG County, Washington County, Howard County, Baltimore County and Baltimore City service areas.

The Director of Quality, Patient Safety, and Staff Development assists in the development and implementation of quality, patient safety, and accreditation standards. This role will also monitor, review, and stay abreast of changes within regulatory rules and change within the appropriate accreditation organization, as well as federal, state and local government regulations that impact end of life care. The Director will provide leadership and work directly with managers, providers, and staff to foster clinical effectiveness and quality outcomes and advance a culture of excellence throughout the organization.
