The Center is currently clinically staffed by internists, psychiatrists, and otorhinolaryngologists. An ACGME approved fellowship trains 3 candidates yearly. The AASM certified Sleep Center is a 14 bed facility, with four additional beds located at a satellite center, providing 4100 patient visits and 2200 polysomnograms annually. Four PhD. and one MD scientist are responsible for the conduct of NIH and pharmaceutical studies, with international recognition for work in insomnia, circadian disorders, sleep apnea, sleep and pain, sleep pharmacology, and sleep therapies.
