What is the search firm’s process?

Ask the search firm how they will target and recruit potential candidates. Will they actively recruit targeted individuals or will they simply rely on their database? From the start of your search we will actively and aggressively reach out to potential recruits.

Does the search firm have an “off-limits” policy?

We do not recruit from our clients.

How long will the search process take from start to finish? What is their guarantee that they will present recruits to you? Is this guaranteed in writing?

Ask about the average time to complete a search. Do they guarantee in writing to present qualified recruits within a specific timeframe?

Who will be responsible for conducting and managing your search? Will the search consultant who sold you the project or a junior recruiter?

It is critical to understand who will conduct your search. We are not about quantity and we focus on building solid relationships with our clients. The person you meet with initially will be responsible for conducting and managing your search.

What is the current search load?

If a search consultant is managing over five current search assignments, this means that your search will not get the necessary time and attention.

What is the guarantee?

What happens if the selected candidate does not work out? Will they guarantee in writing to present qualified recruits within a specific timeframe?

What are the fees and what is their policy on expense reimbursement?
