Chief Medical Officer, Hospice and Palliative Care - Indiana

Job Description:
The Murphey Group, Inc. has been retained by a leading, not for profit Hospice and Palliative Care organization to recruit a Chief Medical Officer.  The Average Daily Census is 300+ and our client is growing.  The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for the overall medical direction of the agency’s hospice and palliative care services, assisting with the development and maintenance of appropriate clinical policies and procedures, acting as a resource and teacher to the agency’s clinical staff, serving as the agency’s physician consultant, supervising the agency medical directors, and acting as the physician liaison to the medical communities throughout the agency’s service area.

Company:
Not for profit Hospice with an ADC of 300+.  Currently our client has a 7-bed freestanding inpatient center.  Additionally, a state-of-the-art 7-bed inpatient center will open later this year. 

Requirements:
We are seeking a CMO who is passionate and motivated to expand and grow a Palliative Care program.  Our client is the largest hospice in the state and their region and has excellent relationships in place within the medical community.

M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification in an ABMS recognized Medical Specialty is required. Board Certification or Eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is required.
